There are many workarounds to connect to an Ubuntu server as a root, using WinSCP. The settings for VCSA 6.5 and VCSA 6.0 differ slightly so. In the new connection dialog, specify the Host name, User name and then click the Advanced button. Bridged connection doesnt work for me, i asume its because i have a router. It is much more expedient just to reconfigure WinSCP and leave the VCSA the way it is In order to use WinSCP, you will need to change where WinSCP looks for the sftp-server binaries.
I tried messing around with connection of VMware. Im following chumpys video guide- im at cabal video where i should be installing cabal files but, i cant seem to connect using WinSCP.
